sew & tell

Well it's been a while since I have participated in Amy's sew & tell Fridays but with a new blog and different priorities in my life getting prioritized, I thought I would get back to the swing of things :)

Here is my zippered pouch that I am wanting to share, I love it! I finally conquored (well somewhat) my fear of zippers and  this gal's tutorial helped me! I have been on an aqua kick lately (who hasn't been?!!) but pairing it with grey (another kick) I just love the combination :) I finished this yesterday morning and almost accidently put it in yesterdays post!  going to make a bunch of these for Christmas gifts :) I have such a long list to finish up, yikes!
Go check out the other gals creations, such inspiration!

so I am linking up over at Amy's sew & tell

toni's tutorial is the best!

i tried to make a pouch with the zipper on the front last night, but ended up with the inside of the bag on the outside. bags can be tricky! :)

This is so sweet! I love the fabric.....I have a fear of zippers, too.....so I go still haven't tried to make any cute bags like this. Thanks for the link to the tutorial on zippers, too. I will be checking that out for sure and maybe I can face my zipper anxieties! ;-)

That is fabulous! I am making little clutches/pouches for Christmas gifts too, but I might have to try a different tute now! Love the aqua and gray combination!

Beautiful zippered pouch! I love it! What's the main fabric with the leaves?

Love the colors you chose and it turned out beautifully! We really can talk ourselves out of some adventures because something is kind of tricky! So what will you tackle next?

You really did a nice job on this. I have been making purses lately and would love to try smaller pouches but didn't know how to get zipper into the top like that. Thanks for showing us where to look!
